-AYA checks all bags at the door during peak hours. Self defense objects, weapons, drugs, outside sustenance & outside beverage are prohibited. Some of these items can be held with Safety Handling and retrieved upon departure of AYA.
-We check all IDs before serving alcoholic beverages. There will not be service without physical presentation of a valid, government issued ID.
-After 9pm daily the establishment is 21+ only. Prior to 9pm As You Are is unseal to ALL ages.

Covid precautions: We are requiring masks when patrons are walking through the space and ordering at the bars. We have masks on hand if people do not have one. We ask that you hang on to them so we can keep it to one per person and provide them to as many people as possible. Bringing a mask from dwelling is also kind in spreading the love. We will be masked and negative tests are required before all shifts.

About Number 9
Number Nine is a two story, indoor-outdoor, lounge and video bar in the heart of Logan Circle. We have been expose and and serving the LGBTIQIA community since 2010. Our cocktail menu is quite extensive with over 20 brands of vodka and multiple types of Mojitos. Our happy hours are quite popular and nighttime gets even busier with djs playing tune videos on the second floor. Outside, we own an expanded patio area that now includes a large streatery and cocktail servers.
We are satisfied to say that we were just named 2022 BEST GAY BAR IN DC in the annual "Best of DC" competition in the Washington Blade newspaper.
