To Achieve Our Mission We:
Identify and combine with nonprofits that aid the environment, animal welfare, and people in want in each city chapter (including organizations not traditionally associated with the Gay community)
Support select organizations through volunteer service (time), and help to amplify their missions through our expansive network of LGBTQ+ volunteers.
Coordinate social events for Queer For Good’s LGBTQ+ volunteers, and our allies, to develop friendships and network
Foster and promote a energy of positive, enthusiastic camaraderie both within the Homosexual community and towards our neighbors and nonprofit loved one organizations
Do something valuable for our community, city and country

Make A Differenc Volunteering can improve mental health and help shrink anxiety and depression. It can provide ways to unite to community, by providing aid and information, and by helping to produce individual connections. Connections that are necessary for a thriving community. By offering up your time and skills you are supporting and uplifting others through critical support, resource gathering, highlighting community and so much more. There are many alternative ways to volunteer and offer aid and all are important! Volunteering can be tremendously rewarding. It can allow for insight on how the LGBTQIA+ society ls living, it can be a way to absorb about the many different programs and organizations that help our family and community from vast cities to little towns. It can be a way to give support and help the next person who is coming into their own. The LGBT National Help Center has several unlike types of volunteer positions for other types of volunteering. Because we are a national organization our volunteer positions are all remote. Most are positions that require internet access and some req There are plenty of opportunities for you to get involved! Volunteers are the backbone of HRC, and our volunteers work on the front lines in the brawl for LGBTQ+ equality. HRC’s powerful network of all-volunteer communities is made up of people from a wide array of backgrounds, experiences, identities, and skill sets. We invest in our volunteers through leadership development and recognition programs, offering workshops, conferences, online resources and back from staff to ensure that our leaders become the strongest and most effective advocates, leaders and fundraisers they can be. Help be the face of LGBT Life Center! From answering the phone to making safe-sex packets, our volunteers are a critical part of the work we do.
We host several annual events that lend funding and support to the LGBTQ and HIV communities. Duties vary from setup to breakdown, greeters, registration, and many other opportunities.
Our PRIDE food pantry is free and open to the universal Monday through Friday, until 5 pm. Our food pantry receives anywhere from 4,000-5.000 lbs. of food each month. We are seeking committed, regular volunteers who can donate their time to assist with receiving, inventorying, and distributing food in our pantry. Make a difference in your community with your time!
