If I had to use one pos to describe this book it would probably be "fun," which is courteous of strange because it's not actually all that upbeat or comical or anything like that. Perhaps "irreverent" is a better term? Either way, the fact is that I spent most of my read-through thinking, GOD I'm glad I picked this up.
Chastity Sentence had a lovely balls-out premise to begin with and then gets steadily wilder and wilder as the story goes on. Which is great! There's arguments to be made for grounding your world to make it more believable, but I always say that erotica writers deserve to be more adventurous and less inhibited about where their fantasies seize them. This is porn. This is smut. Anything should and could occur so long as it fires up our imaginations...or our libidos. Now, at a certain signal this fantasy does take us into the realm of straight-up science fiction which is, satisfactory, a little jarring, but hey. All in all, I'm not complaining.
